Improving your surf mindset
Your Surf Mindset is the mindset with which you enter the water. How is your Surf Mindset?
Answer the following questions and see how your Surf Mindset is doing:
- Can you manage your own expectations in the water?
- Can you deal with fear when it arises?
- Can you regulate your emotions in the ocean?
- Can you get yourself in a positive flow again after a fall?
- Can you reframe negative thoughts?
- Do you feel a pressure to perform?
- Do you surf for yourself or do you always check if people have seen your wave?
- Are you scared to make mistakes?
All these things can stand in the way of your Surf Mindset and your joy in the water.

Surf your heart out and get a feeling for the things that are holding you back from joy and performance in the water.
Join the Mind Session and work with exercises, discussions and tools on your weaknesses. At the end of the week they have become your strengths!
the program of the week
The program is always catered to the surfers present. Depending on the issues that you are facing we will built a program that is tailored to your needs.
An example program
- 07.00 – 08.00: Yoga
- 08.00 – 09.00: Fresh delicious breakfast
- 09.30 – 12.00: Surf session
- 12.30 – 13.30: Nourishing lunch
- 13.30 – 15.00: Free Time
- 15.00 – 18.00: Mind Session (joy, flow, fear, wipe-out, breath training)
- 18.00 – late: Free Time to eat out and explore
The topics of the Mind Session will range from dealing with fear to breath training to wipe-out training to improving confidence to experiencing more flow. We use a range of different techniques based on ACT, surf psychology and spirituality to give you the best toolbox to use in the water.
