Improving your surf spirit

Your Surf Spirit is the mindset with which you enter the water. How is your Surf Spirit?

  • Can you manage your own expectations in the water?
  • Can you deal with fear when it arises?
  • Can you regulate your emotions in the ocean?
  • Can you get yourself in a positive flow again after a fall?

  • Do you surf for yourself or do you always check if people have seen your wave?
  • Are you scared to make mistakes?

Often I see that what stands in the way of your Surf Spirit in the water stands in the way of your joy in life!

In my surf psychology sessions we assess what is most challenging for you at the moment and we see how you can best tackle this. So that you can improve your surfing and your life!

I will tune into what is most needed at the moment. Maybe we will talk through some things, maybe we will revisit some memories or maybe we will do some exercises together. 

 At the end of a session you will always feel lighter and more relieved. You will be able to notice the difference the next time you go in the water. I will also give you some exercises to continue to boost your Surf Spirit on your own.

Where are you now and what is standing in the way of your surfing most at the moment? We will start with an assessment to see where you are at and what you need.

Where do you want to go? What is it that you want to learn or achieve? How do you want to feel? We will pick a direction and make a plan to reach your destination.

In every session I will give you tools and practical exercises. Talking is fun but doing is more fun. This way you will built a toolkit to master your Surf Spirit on your own!
